Position: Antenna/EM Engineer
Location: Bari
Role Overview:
The Antenna/EM Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and testing high-performance antenna systems. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of RF and antenna systems.
- Perform simulations, analysis, and optimization of antenna and RF performance.
- Develop prototypes, perform testing, and validate antenna performance in lab and real-world environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, systems, Hardware) to integrate antennas into larger systems.
- Document design specifications, results, and prepare technical reports.
- Support in defining and meeting project schedules and deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- MSc in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or PhD in Antenna, Electromagnetic field.
- 1+ years of experience in antenna design and RF systems.
- Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., CST).
- Familiarity with RF testing equipment (e.g., vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers).
- Knowledge of space environment constraints and requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
- English and Italian leanguage is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in designing antennas for satellite communications.
- Understanding of materials and mechanical constraints for space components.
- Basic experience with phased array antennas or beamforming technologies.
- Knowledge of industry standards for aerospace and space systems.
